The 2020 Sequatchie County Fair & Fairest of the Fair Pageants have been Cancelled
To Sequatchie County Fair friends, volunteers and sponsors:
The board of the the Sequatchie County Fair Association has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s fair. Many of our volunteers have health concerns that would certainly put them at risk if exposed to the Corona Virus. Many of our volunteers are of an age when even if healthy could be severely compromised if exposed. While we can control our own actions, we cannot control the actions of the general public. Our county is seeing increased numbers of virus cases and we are beginning to see it affect our friends and neighbors. We feel that at this time the most prudent action we can take is to cancel this year’s fair.
Fair sponsors and financial contributors will shortly receive notice of this action and what we plan going forward. Thank you for your continued support and stay well.
